As of this month, I’ve finally finished paying off my cat Caillou’s hospitalization bills from several months ago when I almost lost him to a blocked urinary tract. The incident managed to rack up over a thousand dollars in vet bills and thanks to so many people who follow me on here who donated and reblogged his post, I was able to save his life, since I otherwise would not have been able to afford his surgery. He’s been doing really well and hasn’t had any issues in months now, and I just wanted to thank everybody again. I know it’s been a while since it happened and you guys might even be sick of hearing about this, but I still look at him every day and remember how terrible I felt during that time period not knowing if he’d live or die all because I couldn’t afford his bills, and I think of how lucky I am to have such great internet friends who did all they could to help us. I really just can’t thank you guys enough for doing what you did to collect enough money to pay for his treatment. He’s alive because of everyone’s generosity to both him and me and it means more than I can express. Aside from those of you who follow me just to harass me via anonymous whenever I make a post, the rest of you are seriously the greatest. You’re all wonderful and I feel so lucky to have met you guys on here. Thank you. :)
